TUG 2010 U2U is just around the corner! The User Group’s (TUG) User-to-User (U2U) conference is an annual opportunity for Infor Distribution ERP users to meet with each other and brainstorm. Are you looking for ways to better battle the current economic situation, how best to tweak your system for maximum efficiency? Learn what others’ best practices are working well while also learning what others’ mistakes to avoid. This year, more than any other in recent history, we are all needing to do more with less. We expect to gain valuable insight by learning how others are striving to do more than surviving - in fact, learning how to thrive.

Special Interest Groups will hold meetings on Tuesday April 20, and the TUG 2010 U2U Conference will be held Wednesday April 21 - Friday April 23. The conference will take place at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. Check out the schedule now!

Paul St. Germain from IBM and Steve Epner with Brown-Smith-Wallace will be this year’s keynote speakers. TUG will focus on helping distributors be better prepared to survive and thrive in the new economy, with special emphasis on better margin management, operational excellence, and strategies for a new economy.

Case studies, roundtables, third-party consultants, and service providers all make this conference unique. The agenda comes from user suggestions - from real people, with real distribution experiences like yourself, facing the same challenges you are facing. By attending you can expect to make valuable contacts, a network of people who share your interests and issues, and many who have found the solutions by learning from other users.

Every year TUG also invites the product management team from Infor to attend their sessions - those who make the decisions about your platform’s future. Face to face you can discuss the issues and features that affect you the most. Top issues lists are provided to Infor and results are reported for future versions.

Infor also provides invaluable technical training - a hands on learning lab and in-depth presentations.

A third party expo introduces you to services and products that other users are using and have recommended - almost every sponsorship has come from a user recommendation. Know that these vendors are tried and true. Talk to other users about their experiences and see the products and services during live demo sessions on Wednesday afternoon.

Who should attend? As many from your association as you can spare. Previous years attendees titles range from C-level execs to admins - there’s something here for everyone in your organization who touches your ERP platform. TheUserGroup.org exists because of its members. And more members benefit everyone.
